Prominent fashion designer Zac Posen pioneered a programmable little black dress at his recent Spring 2016 show at New York Fashion Week.

Google’s Made With Code sponsored the 50 girls who helped program the dress to attend the show. By allowing them to see how their efforts translated into a tangible object, the project inspires more girls to pursue computer science courses.

The project also includes a web-based platform that allows users to design virtual dresses. To design your own LED dress, click here.
