1,000 youth and adults received digital literacy training in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Around 1,000 youth and adults were trained in digital literacy at Parroquía San Francisco de Asís in Buenos Aires, Argentina during the closure of Educando Sobre Ruedas program. This initiative, organized by Educando Foundation and Grupo Telecom consisted of the organization of 90 free workshops during 5 months in different parts of the city. Participants who finished the workshops received certificates to demonstrate their new skills.

The workshops took place in a mobile classroom outside of the venue with a capacity of 16 work stations adapted with diverse digital tools. Local teachers trained participants in diverse contents related to informatics, developing presentations, text processing tools, internet browsing and social networks management, among others.

Other projects organized by Educando Foundation and Grupo Telecom during the last few years have already provided digital training to 11,300 students in 7 different provinces of the country.
