Persons with disabilities will receive digital skills training in Andalucía
“Andalucía Compromiso Digital” or Andalucía’s Digital Agreement is a program implemented by the Employment, Enterprise and Commerce Council, with the support of the European Social Fund, to provide digital skills for citizens in order to enhance employment in the ICT field. The initiative, launched in 2007, provides training to the population through digital ambassadors, awareness campaigns, in person and online digital skills training.
In June 2016, the initiative will receive support from the Public Andalucian Foundation for the Social Integration of People with Cognitive Disorders (FAISEM in Spanish) to train persons with cognitive disabilities to enhance their digital skills thus increasing their employment opportunities. Additionally, support for finding online job opportunities will be provided in different cities within the region, including Almería, Huelva, Sevilla, Cordoba, Jaen and Granada.
