Orange Foundation provides digital infrastructure and training for children in Botswana

Orange Foundation will donate $390,000 BWP to provide internet and computing devices for children support centers in Tlokweng, Francistown and Serowe towns in Bostwana. During the first phase, 148 children from Tlokweng will benefit from availability of digital literacy resources and the next two towns will receive the same support in the coming months.

Besides from providing technology infrastructure, Orange Foundation’s program will also organize lessons to teach children and youth from the towns how to effectively use the equipment. The skills that will be taught to the children mostly intend to support them on daily activities, enhancing their education and improving their career opportunities for the future.
