250 youth in Uganda participated in Africa Code Week 2016

During the 2016 Africa Code Week organized by SAP, 250 Ugandan youth received training in digital literacy in order to enhance their skills for improving their future employment opportunities. Considering Uganda has one of the youngest populations in the world, the program is expected to empower young generations while supporting the country to prepare skilled workers for its growth.

Beneficiaries from Africa Code Week include students from primary and secondary schools across Kamapala region. It will be implemented with the support of other organizations such as Makerere University, Women in Technology Uganda, Resilient Africa Network and HiveCOLAB.
