New website promotes Apple accessibility features

Apple released a new website promoting the different accessibility features embedded on some of its main products. The Apple Accessibility website shows a set of videos explaining how different devices can be used by persons with disabilities.

The videos represent profile cases of users that could benefit from the features on the devices. For example, in one of the videos Paulson, a woman with cerebral palsy, demonstrates how she uses accessible technologies such as Switch Control to interact with a computer.

The website is divided into five main sections targeting vision, hearing, mobility and other disabilities. It also includes a section for learning needs and inclusive education. Aside from the promotion of the development of accessible technologies, the website also represents how universal access to technology may be leveraged as a competitive advantage in the market.
