Digital Education coalition to promote digital literacy and jobs in Czech Republic

The Czech Republic’s government announced that it plans to spend seven billion crowns to promote digital literacy by 2020. This investment forms part of the plans specified to achieve the goals of the national Digital Education Strategy.

Additionally, the Czech Education, Labour and Industry ministries, the Government Office and the Czech ICT Alliance formed a coalition to promote digital job positions and access to digital literacy for youth in the country. It is expected that through the enhancement of their digital skills, the population will find better job opportunities and become more productive in everyday life chores.
