Mobile technology digital skill courses provided at Huasteca in Spain

The government of Huasteca in Spain launched a series of workshops and courses as part of its Digital Inclusion Plan for 2016-2017, in order to promote the adoption of ICTs and provide population with Access to diverse digital services. This initiative follows a set of yearly plans that have been promoting digital inclusion within the region for the last few years.

The first two courses about learning how to use mobile technologies will take place at local libraries from 12th -15th December and 19th-22nd. A third course will take place on 23rd December explaining participants how to download electronic books through e-Biblio de Araón platform. Additional learning opportunities will teach core digital literacy skills such as e-mail access and Internet browsing for participants aged 16+ with no basic computing knowledge.
