Network for Employability in Information and Communication Technologies launched in Peru

A group of students from San Ignacio del Loyola University (USIL) and CISCO professionals partnered to create the Network for Employability in Information and Communications Technologies in Peru. This online platform is intended to connect employers with persons with disabilities and low-income women that are seeking for IT related jobs.

The job-seekers that will be participating in the program will receive additional training from San Ignacio Loyola University Computer Engineering School. The first class started in October 2016 and will finish in the end of June 2017, providing digital skills training for six students with vision disabilities. The initiative will continue to invite beneficiaries to provide more persons with disabilities with access to services and better labor opportunities.
