Puebla App Innovation to promote digital inclusion and local development through ICTs

On March 16-17, the third Puebla App Innovation contest will take place at the Center of Networking of the Popular Autonomous University of Puebla State (UPAEP in Spanish) in Mexico. The competition will invite high school and college students from the fields of Information Systems, Information Technologies, Mechatronics and Industrial Design to create applications that promote digital inclusion.

The event is organized with the support of diverse non-governmental organizations that will support participants to use ICTs to target additional key areas such as education, sustainability, tourism, underserved population and civic engagement. Additionally, participants will have to bear in mind two rules, which are focusing on one of the previous topics and integrating their technology solutions with the multiple platforms currently available at the state.
