Free robotics and computing courses for children in Yucatán, Mérida

The Mexican Ministry of Communications and Transportation is offering free robotics, computing and entrepreneurship courses for children in Yucatán state. From July 10 to August 28, these workshops will address the curiosity of children over 8 years old at “Puntos México Conectado” digital labs created as part of the national digital inclusion strategy.

Every class receives up to 50 students and requires previous subscription. According to Laura Carreño Silvan, head of a digital lab in Yucatán, Mérida, “The main objective of this hub is to get the people closer to technology. Diverse courses are provided for members in different areas such as computing, entrepreneurship and app development.”
