Google and Udacity offer 50,000 scholarships for web and mobile developers

Google and Udacity online education platform launched an initiative to offer 50,000 scholarships for aspiring web and mobile application developers. The scholarships, part of Grow with Google program, are intended to increase digital literacy by providing users with advanced job skills to improve their chances of finding employment.

The program provides beneficiaries with free tools, training and events to learn how to code and apply their knowledge to small projects. Its aim isto fulfill the needs of job seekers, local business owners, teachers and developers.

The initiative provides continuity to an on-going program that has not stopped since 2015. During its first phases, it provided 60,000 scholarships for android and web developers and 15,000 more for data science skills.
