AP Janmabhoomi invites students from Andhra Pradesh to offer ICT training for teachers

AP Janmabhoomi is a special initiative, launched by Andhra Pradesh’s state government in India with the support of Intershala. It consists in providing internship opportunities for 1,000 graduates and college students who will impart digital literacy training for teachers of government schools. This scheme enables students to learn while helping the community to be better prepared for embracing the use of ICTs.

The program started in November 25, 2017 and was designed to cover government schools in the regions of Guntur, Visakhapatnam, West Godavari, East Godavari, Prakasam and Vijayawada. More than 900 students registered to participate in the program indicating the possibility of further expanding the program to other regions.

Government certificates and a letter of recommendation will be provided to all participants, however, top performers will receive special documentation showing their merits.
