Vodafone Instant Schools platform leverages technology to boost high quality education in Ghana

Vodafone Ghana Foundation launched in 2016 a digital education platform called “Instant Schools” to provide children from Ghana with access to accessible educational materials and digital skills training. One year later, the online portal has been introduced to over 40 schools in five regions reaching more than 1.8 million hits.

The “Instant Schools” platform is endorsed by Ghana Education Service, and supports local schools to access teaching materials, textbooks, and past examinations through technology tools. Access is available both for institutions in the city and remote villages. According to Yolanda Cuba, Chief Executive of Vodafone Ghana, this project seeks to boost the educational transformation and provide future generations with better opportunities to learn.
