French government will finance digital skills training for 10,000 youth

The French Minister of Labor announced that the government will sponsor training for 10,000 youth to boost their digital skills and land in technology related jobs. 10 KNUM program forms part of the Investment Plan for Competencies (Plan d’investissent dans les compétences, PIC in French) and will mainly support unemployed youth with low educational levels.

The training program will take place with support from private industry organizations such as IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Linagora, Econocom, Computacenter or CGI. It will promote the development of abilities in different IT sectors, including web development, informatics, customer service, data analysis and cybersecurity.
