Aprender Conectados program will boost digital skills in Argentinian schools
The Argentinian Ministry of Education launched “Aprender Conectados” (Learning Connected) program to improve the digital skills of children in all school levels, mainly through coding and robotics. Participation in this initiative will now be required for all children and teachers in the country, reaching up to 8 million beneficiaries.
The plan will not only modify the national curriculum, but will also contribute to improving the ICT infrastructure in schools and training teachers. A series of educational contents will be made available in different formats to satisfy the needs of different study levels.
It has been announced that educational equipment distributed to implement this initiative will include diverse digital resources such as drones, 3D printers and virtual reality simulators. Lessons will be shared with students employing different videogames and other interactive proposals.
