On June 23 and 24, the TIC TAC Weekend Camp gathered a group of 80 middle-school girls from Brasilia to learn digital skills for storytelling and software development. The event was organized by Serpro at the Centro Educacional do Lago Norte (North Lake Educational Center) under the sponsorship of the International Telecommunication Union. The training was organized to support the objectives of United Nations 2030 sustainable development agenda.

Participants were trained in different skills including digital storytelling leveraging visual editors, mobile applications development and robotics. The training was organized amid the Orange Day, which seeks to raise awareness about the relevance of stopping violence against women. For this reason, digital skills trainings were combined with discussions about other topics such as personal defense, entrepreneurship, and financial independence.
