The British Council will invest 10 million GBP to build up digital skills for youth in Western Balkans
The UK’s Foreign Ministry announced that the government would invest 10 million GBP over three years to build digital skills for youth in Western Balkans in order to promote employment opportunities. The funding will be destined to equip over 4,500 children with core technology skills as part of their school programs.
This initiative is part of the British Council 21st Century Schools pilot program, which intends to enable primary school aged children to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and digital literacy skills. The countries that will participate in the program include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
