EkoBits ICT Academy and Poise Nigeria concluded its training program to introduce 42 young people from underserved regions in Nigeria to ICT skills. Participants were selected from the suburbs close to Lagos, around the areas of Itedo, Marwa Ajiran, Ikate, Babalola and Jakande.

The training program consisted of 12 months of courses in both technology and creative skills, in areas such as computer graphic design, web design and development, work ethics and professionalism, business planning, photography and video editing, and other ICT skills. Human resource representatives from different companies were invited to the graduation ceremony to interview graduates and consider offering potential employment opportunities.

The program is intended to spread digital skills literacy in Nigeria as an avenue to reduce unemployment among Nigerian young people from underserved regions.
