Argentinian seniors learn about digital literacy to access financial services
The National University of Río Negro (UNRN) in Argentina launched training opportunities for seniors to improve their digital skills and learn how to handle their finances accessing banking services. The programme, called “Un click de confianza” (A click of trust), intends to support seniors not only to become capable of using technology, but also to become independent from other people to perform online transactions.
The trainings are conducted by the Department of Continual Education of UNRN, and require no previous sign up or payment. It intends to address the barriers faced by seniors to access financial services that are nowadays mainly available using digital platforms.
