Digital Inclusion Week is an annual celebration in the US, which aims to raise awareness of solutions addressing home internet access, personal devices and local technology training and support programmes. This year it took place from 7 to 11 October.

DIW2019 was sponsored by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA), which represents more than 350 affiliated organizations in 44 US states working toward digital equity.

The kinds of events typically organized to mark Digital Inclusion Week include: workshops for digital skills training, digital resource fairs (promoting opportunities to learn and raffling devices or services to participants), door-to-door outreach (to canvass a community with low rates of internet access to educate residents about low-cost broadband options) and device donation drives (for which used computers and smartphones are collected, refurbished, and disseminated to programme participants).
