5th M-Enabling Summit: Accessible Mobile Technology and Environments for ALL
On June 13-14 the 5th annual M-Enabling Summit on Accessible Mobile Technology and Environments for ALL will take place at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Virginia in the US. The event, organized by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict) in cooperation with ITU, will host over 120 speakers including private sector leaders, app developers, policy makers, accessibility experts and disability advocates that will speak about their projects and experiences.
The 2016 M-Enabling Summit will focus on promoting the design and adoption of accessible technologies as well as innovation to meet the needs of persons with disabilities. It is expected to attract hundreds of participants from a range of countries promoting a global scope for mobile accessibility innovation. Five major tracks will be highlighted:
- Cutting edge mobile enabling solutions
- Internet of things and smart cities
- Inclusive Higher Education
- Accessibility for business and government
