2017 Digital Inclusion Leadership Awards to recognize most innovative policy in USA

The winners of the 2017 Digital Inclusion Leadership Awards were announced recognizing six USA cities for the implementation of programs to tackle the barriers to digital inclusion in their communities. The competition, organized by Next Century Cities and Google Fiber, analyzed two categories, which are Digital Inclusion Best Practices and Most Promising New Plan.

Raleigh, NC – Digital Connectors Riverside County, CA – RIVCOconnected
Chicago, IL – Learning Circles Kansas City, MO – Internet Services and Weatherization Program


Besides from the recognition, Next Century Cities provides an open site to review information about the winning projects in order to learn from their innovative approaches to promote digital inclusion.
