Teachers in Colima, Mexico receive training to incorporate technology into their classrooms

Sixth grade teachers in Colima, Mexico are being trained to incorporate technology into their classrooms through the state’s Digital Inclusion Program.  This initiative will benefit 490 teachers on a voluntary basis, forming part of the local strategy to enhance education.

The training, provided by the Ministry of Education, will consist in three sessions of six hours during the weekends. Through the courses, professors learn how to use different technology resources and exchange ideas to use them for their classes. Additionally, they are invited to share their insights on the conditions of access to digital resources in their schools
