Non-profit organizations in 25 European countries have been invited by ‘Meet and Code’ to apply for small grants to run events that boost young peoples’ digital skills. The application process is open from 3 June until 8 September 2019.

The Meet and Code programme, created by SAP and Haus des Stiftens, is offering grants of up to 500 euros for coding events targeting children and young people (ages 8-24). Awards will go to the most creative and innovative ideas in the following four categories: Girls do IT!, Community, Diversity, and Code for the Planet. Finalists will be invited to a special awards weekend.

In 2018, more than 50,000 young people took part in 1,100 programming events across Europe supported by Meet and Code.
